THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: I ate at an Italian restaurant last night that had counter service instead of waiters. I figured I would just leave my dishes on the table and a busboy would clean them up. But they had a sign that implored the customers to clean up after themselves, proclaiming, "We're not your mother." That's right, you're not - my mother doesn't charge me $9 for a plate of rigatoni. So get over here and clean up my stuff.
