THE FUNNIEST THING I EVER SAID: When I was in college I took a class called "Ancient Comedy and Its Influence". The professor was obsessed with sex and all of the Greek plays we read were about rape, incest, and other topics that the Greeks apparently found hilarous. One time the professor asked the class, "We've read a lot of stories this semester about rape, but do we know of any stories in which somebody tried to convince or trick somebody into having sex with them?" I turned to the person next to me and said, "That's the story of my life." The four of five people who heard the comment all laughed hysterically. I wished I had said it loud enough for the professor to hear. Trust me, you had to be there.
