One day not too long ago I was leaving my apartment during a snowstorm and a couple of teenagers were having a snowball fight on the sidewalk in front. A guy came out of the restaurant next door and scolded them: "Hey, guys, you know there are other people walking here!"

To which one of the kids responded, "Uh, yeah, that's why we're not hitting any of them!"

I love that logic. That could only make sense to a teenager. The fact that people are walking there is actually the reason why they're not hitting them. Of course, if there wasn't anyone there, they would be pegging those poor nonexistent folks repeatedly. Good thing there were people around to prevent that from happening.
