This is funny- there's an article in today's NY Times about stuff to do while visiting St. Louis. At one point, they write:

"The trendiest spot in St. Louis might just be the Nectar Lounge. Don't even think of walking into this ultrahip boîte wearing denim or any other unironic attire."

Of course, the picture at the top of the article features three girls hanging out at Nectar, two of whom are wearing jeans. Not sure what they're made of, possibly some kind of futuristic denim-like polymer.
