DO THE MATH: News flash! CBS is pitting its new "CSI" franchise up against NBC's "Law & Order". The media is passing this off as headline news, as if CBS is "challenging" NBC. However, now that there are three "CSI"s and four "Law and Order"s, that means that, with 22 hours of prime-time programming, by my calculations, there is a greater than fifty percent chance that one franchise would be pitted against the other. If someone mathematically inclined could confirm this for me I would be grateful.
