COMEDY AND FOOTBALL: Thanks to everyone who came out to Twin Killing at Swift last night. We had a packed house, including the return of the Dr. Who fan club. Also, Chris and I co-hosted the show together for the first time which was a little scary but still fun. We're thinking of doing the show every other week from now on so hopefully we'll have a chance to try stuff like that more often. Also big ups to the comedians who performed, all of whom were really funny (not that surprising since Chris and I picked them ourselves! Ha ha ha!) Got home from the show in the middle of the second quarter of the Eagles' season opener, which they sadly lost 14-10 to the Falcons. I know some Eagles fans are bummed about the loss but I'm optimistic - facing Atlanta on the road will probably be the toughest game they play all season. In brighter football news, I'm 1-0 in my fantasy football league after defeating my brother in Week 1 despite accumulating the second-lowest point total in the league. I'll let you do the math and figure out who had the lowest. I'm also in the middle of the pack in my football picks pool and considering joining a "survivor" pool as well. The NFL -in the words of the immortal Tim McGraw, "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!"
